Sarah Nelson and Rosalie Wehlander will be performing, "Birdgirl On Walkabout" as a dress rehearsal for their One-Act Play Competiton on Monday, January 23rd at 10 a.m. in the school's south gym. All community members are welcome to attend their performance. They will be performing at the Region Contest on Wednesday, January 25th at JVC. Lily Blue and Kasey Burmeister are stage crew.

Reminder there is a regular school day scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday Jan. 19. All scholars are required to come to school in the morning to be counted a present. The 281 Conference games tomorrow are scheduled for 12:00 (girls) and 1:30 (boys).If your scholar is planning to leave for the basketball games they will need to bring a parent note to the office tomorrow morning. These students will be dismissed at 11:00 and will not be required to return to school at the conclusion of the games.

Kennedy Sammons of Community Counseling Services in Huron will be working with our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students on Wednesdays for the next 12 weeks. She will be presenting the program "Too Good For Drugs!" Yesterday the students received a brief overview of the program and took a pre-test. Next Wednesday we will begin work on the first lesson.
Brackets for the 281 Conference Tournament that begins later this week. GO SHARKS!!

Wednesday morning the elementary had a Christmas Movie Morning!! Each student picked one of three movies to watch, and they were given a ticket for admission into the movie. Once they were all settled in and watching the movie a popcorn cart was brought around with Huron Luxury Cinema popcorn and juice. Thank you, Huron Luxury Cinema for donating the popcorn!!! One name was drawn from each movie room to receive a prize! The winners were Sammy Bretz, Jonathan Bornitz and Peyton Eckhardt.
