Beadle County Conservation District visited the 3rd grade class on Thursday. They learned about Arbor Day, each received a tree and learned how to plant them.

Last week the elementary students shared their musical talent with their loved ones at their spring concert.

Yesterday the kindergarteners learned about non standard units of measurement. Their teacher, Mrs. Weir, is ten shoe lengths long but some of the kindergarteners are only seven shoes long.

Approximately 100 elementary students and their loved ones joined us for Read 'n Roll this morning. Everyone enjoyed delicious cinnamon rolls and long johns while reading books. We would like to thank Mary for baking the delicious rolls and Tom for setting up and tearing down for us....you two went above and beyond for us. THANK YOU!

Yesterday's SB game has been rescheduled for May 5 at 2:00 in Colman. Players will have enough time to return for the FFA Banquet.

Iroquois School would like to show our support for the Boldt/McCloud family, from Lake Preston, after the fire on their family farm! We will be joining in on the Lake Preston School "Dress like a FarmerRancher" fundraiser. We, however, will be dressing up on Thursday, May 1st since we do not have school on the 2nd. Elementary students can give their $1 to Mrs. Burma and MS/HS students can give their $1 to Mr. Wipf.

The softball game tonight has been cancelled.

Golf (WS and Brookings) and Track have both been cancelled for tomorrow (4/24). Softball is still on at this point. We will send out a rescheduled date if one comes.

Schedule your appointment now for Kindergarten Round Up!!!

Reminder that we have a REGULAR SCHOOL DAY on Friday, 4-25-25. Elementary parents/grandparents are invited to the Read and Roll in the South Gym on Friday morning at 7:45 am. GO CHIEFS!!

A little "What's Happening" in Mr. Wipf's class.
In February, the Senior class took a trip to Pierre. They sat in on a committee meeting, talked with Senator Wheeler, and sat in the Senate Session. The kids had some good questions for Mr Wheeler, and he was happy to talk with them!
This last week, the Juniors took a trip to the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum. They had a great time seeing the planes, tanks, and memorabilia!

Good Evening! The link below is for the PreK-5 Spring Concert tomorrow night, for those unable to attend!
