
The elementary Christmas concert will be held on Dec. 5 @ 6:00 pm. MS/HS will be performing at 7:30 pm both in South Gym. Between concerts there will be a hot cocoa, hot cider, goodies available in kitchen for a free will donation. Proceeds to music department. Santa will also be available to visit in MS/HS hallway.

Reminder: Tomorrow Tuesday, November 28th at 6:00 pm a Suicide Prevention Event is being held at the DeSmet Events Center. Following the 60-minute video there is a panel discussion about Youth Mental Wellness. This event is open to the public. Parents are encouraged to attend with their high school-aged children.


Iroquois Elementary held their "Digits & Donuts" event on Wednesday, in the school gym. Loved ones were invited to join their students for donuts and math games before school. Eighty students and loved ones attended the event.











The third grade class presented the play “Squanto Squash” to their parents and the elementary classes on Wednesday. Video of the play is posted on "Iroquois Chiefs" facebook page.

Iroquois Ag Class had the privilege of hosting the ‘23-‘24 South Dakota FFA State officers today!
Students had a great time interacting with their peers learning how to effectively communicate with with their teammates by completing various tasks.

Pizza with the Principal Read-a-Thon party was held today during lunch time. 51 students got to celebrate with Mr. Ruth for reading atleast 350 minutes!!! Thank you to The Chop Stop for making the pizza for us and PTO for the chips & pop! There was even a little singing and dancing going on!

Parents of Iroquois students in grades 6-12:
Last week you should have received a letter about Satchel One notifications. With the letter, there were QR codes for each of your students. Please sign up for the notifications from Satchel One so you can keep up to date with your students. These will be the primary way you are notified about detentions for minor incidents.

Read-a-Thon pajama day and extra snack time coupons were redeemed yesterday. For extra snack time they could choose between an orange float, root beer float or a sundae!







Tuesday afternoon the elementary students celebrated Halloween with costumes, treats and games with their classmates!







The Veteran's Day Program at Iroquois school will be on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10 @ 9:00 am. Please NOTE the different start time. Hope to see all there to support and HONOR the Veteran's!! GO CHIEFS!!

Tuesday, November 28th at 6:00 pm, the documentary "My Ascension" will be played at the DeSmet Events Center followed by a panel discussion about youth mental health. Please see the attached poster for more information.


Congratulations to Mrs. Dant and the FCCLA Chapter for receiving the CTSO grant. The funds will allow the chapter to purchase professional dress including jackets and shirts to be worn during competitions and at public events.
