The second grade class presented a play about what animals do when it rains, to the kindergarten and first grade classes, this morning. Video of the play is posted on "Iroquois Chiefs" facebook page.

Sixteen elementary students earned EXTRA recess with Mr. Ruth today for completing their reading logs every month! They also received a certificate and a couple little treats!











ATTENTION: A participation survey for next year activities was sent to all current 5-11 grade students. The purpose is to gauge interest in the different opportunities we offer and help directors plan. Please fill this out ASAP. Thank you.

Miss Lacey's reading intervention group has been researching planets. Today they each presented their top 10 facts about their planet to the whole class.










Elementary is busy rehearsing for their spring concert that will be held tonight at 6:30 in the south gym. The students have been working very hard on all of their songs!! The concert will be livestreamed if you are unable to join us.










Earlier today the Huron school was on lockdown. I have been notified that the situation is now under control and there is NO DANGER to our students, staff, school, or community.
Bus routes will run as normal.

First grade learned about Ancient Egypt yesterday in Social Studies.





Juniors were able to take a trip to the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum in Granite Falls MN for Mr. Wipf's class. Fully operational planes, tanks, jeeps, motorcycles, etc - all from WWII, they even have some Japanese and German planes! What a fun experience!

Happy May Day! Second graders had fun delivering May Day baskets to elementary staff...only a couple got caught!!
