Meet our special education teachers, title teacher, and paraprofessionals that work together to provide encouragement, individualized support, and lots of care for our students each and every day. These ladies are an important part of what makes our school family so special!

Our Preschool–5th Grade teachers are ready to welcome students back and begin another year of learning, growing, and making memories. We are so lucky to have teachers who care deeply about our students and treat our small school like the family it is.

Meet the Iroquois middle school and high school staff! They encourage our students, challenge them to be their best, celebrate their successes, and help prepare them for life beyond the classroom. Many of them are also sport coaches or advisers for various groups!

We’re so thankful for the care they put into every meal and the smiles they share along the way. They are an important part of our school family! Alumni Spotlight: Greg ('69) & Diane ('72) Blue5

For Greg and Diane Blue, Iroquois School has always been more than a school—it has been a lifelong family tradition. Greg graduated with the Class of 1969, and Diane followed with the Class of 1972.
Greg's mother, Marge Blue, as well as Greg and Diane's 2 children and 3 grandchildren have graduated from Iroquois schools. Four grandchildren are currently attending school in Iroquois.
During his high school years, Greg stayed busy participating in football, basketball, and track, while Diane enjoyed being a member of Pep Club. One of Diane's favorite memories is Homecoming week.
"Working on parade floats all week, attending the football games, and going to the Homecoming dance made for a great week every year."

After graduation, Diane attended business college for one year. Greg earned his teaching degree from Huron College before beginning his career in education. He taught in Yale and Iroquois for five years, followed by one year at Northwestern High School in Mellette. In 1979, Greg returned to the Cavour area to begin farming.

Greg has also devoted many years to serving the Iroquois community through education. He joined the Iroquois School Board in 1990 and continues to serve today as the School Board President.

When asked why he would recommend Iroquois School to prospective families, Greg's answer reflects what has made the school special for generations.
"Small classroom sizes allow the staff to care about each student as an individual."

He also describes Iroquois School in three words:
"Great Learning Experience."

For families considering Iroquois School, Greg believes the school's greatest strengths are its small class sizes and great teachers—qualities that have benefited not only him and Diane but multiple generations of their family.

The Blue family's lasting connection to Iroquois School is a wonderful example of the pride, commitment, and community that continues to make Iroquois a special place.
