It's time for the Iroquois Elementary Read-A-Thon! Our school Read-A-Thon begins tomorrow and is sure to be a fun and exciting event.
We understand that your time is valuable. We also know that providing the best education for your child is important. That's why we are encouraging everyone to activate their student's Read-A-Thon account as soon as possible. The instructions are straightforward, making it quick and hassle-free, and it should take less than 5 minutes of your time.
This account will serve as a hub for recording and monitoring your child's progress as a Reader in the event, and for you to share their Read-A-Thon message with friends and family. Use the link below to activate your student's Reader account: https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/PcHjvp/1?utm=email
Thank you so much for your participation and support. Together, we can make this Read-A-Thon an amazing experience for our young readers! Thank you,
Iroquois Elementary

Fourth grade students welcomed Iroquois School Food Director, Mary Black, into their classroom for a fun, hands-on science activity! Mary helped the students extract DNA from a strawberry, giving them the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of genetics. The students enjoyed learning how to break down the strawberry and observe the DNA hidden inside its cells. It was an exciting way to bring science to life and experience firsthand how amazing living things are!

This week is SDHSAA Officials Appreciation Week. Officials take time out of their busy lives, and away from family to not only officiate our student-athletes, but to also learn rule changes, take test, and attend meeting.
Officials ARE the reason we are able to have high school athletics!
Tuesday night at the game in Iroquois, our ILP VB players were able to give our two officials for the evening signed thank you cards and a gift to thank them for everything they do!
Thank you officials!
