Senior Spotlight: Rexton Blue
The son of Jesse and Heather Blue, Rexton has been active in NHS, FFA, IPAT, I Club, ACT, choir, Student Council, basketball, football, track, and golf. His willingness to be involved in both academics and athletics reflects his drive to stay engaged and contribute to his school community in every way possible.
Rexton’s favorite class is History and Government. He shares that he loves learning about the past of our great country and finds it absolutely fascinating.
Mrs. Stevens stands out as his favorite teacher. He appreciates how she makes class fun through hands-on activities and engaging lessons; there is never a dull moment in Ag.
One of his favorite high school memories comes from summer basketball camp in Spearfish.
When it comes to school lunch, pizza is his go-to choice.
After graduation, Rexton plans to attend South Dakota State University and major in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. Following college, he hopes to remain in South Dakota and work as a wildlife biologist.
