What is FCCLA?
Family, Career and Community Leaders is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education.
Our Mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through: character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
Beadle County Humane Society Supply Drive: Middle school FCCLA students collected supplies for the Beadle County Humane Society. Supplies collected included dog treats, flea medicine, collars, and paper, which the students then shredded to donate to the Humane Society. In return for bringing items for the Humane Society, FCCLA members made candy to give to the people participating in the supply drive.
