I have been involved in teaching students from ages 3 through 18 in some form for the past 20 plus years.  I started at the secondary level teaching the social sciences at James Valley from 1990 - 1994.  I then took off from full time teaching to more part time teaching to be at home with my kids.  While at home I taught piano lessons and did substitute teaching until 2004.  From 2004 - 2015 I taught elementary music, P.E. and computers at Holy Trinity Catholic School.  I have enjoyed teaching all ages the importance of having music in their lives. I am excited to be teaching all levels of music here at Iroquois. I have also been a Co-Head track coach and have enjoyed working with the students on the athletic side also.

Jeff and I have been blessed with two children a daughter in law, son in law and now recently a grandson.  Tyson, his wife Akina and their son Elliott.  Also Tierra and her new husband John Cassens.  My hobbies and activities I enjoy are basically anything I can do actively outside with running and riding as my two top choices.  Of course being with my family is always number one!  I am excited to a part of this school and community as a Chief!
